Yom HaZikaron
Yom HaZikaron 03/05/2022
is the day of national remembrance in Israel to commemorate all the soldiers and people who lost their lives during the struggle to defend the State of Israel. On this day we mourn and remember our fallen soldiers and all lives lost by terror. Yom HaZikaron, which goes by the Jewish calendar, begins with a siren at 8:00 in the evening. As soon as the siren is heard, Israeli citizens stop whatever they’re doing, wherever they are, and stand firm to honor those they’ve lost. People driving on highways stop their cars in the middle of the road to get out and stand in remembrance. A whole office will stop working and a family having dinner will stop eating in order to spend a minute in respectful silence.
KIDIC & SCOPE
Last week we had a special Delegation from Israel. Mr. David Cohen – Former Israeli Police Commissioner and Co-Founder of Scope company, Roni Rittman – Former Chief of Israeli FBI and Elad Cohen – CEO of Scope. Scope and Kosovo Israel Development & Investment Corporation KIDIC have reached agreement of collaboration and we are happy to welcome SCOPE to our big Family.
Signing of agreement
We are glad to announce the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding MoU between Damian Brikman CEO/Co-founder of Kosovo Israel Development Investment & Corporation and Mr. Labinot Ademi from Menora Enkidu. Two companies are dealing with international trading and in other areas.
Meeting with Mayor of Mitrovica
The Mayor, Bedri Hamza, together with Deputy Mayor Tahiri, received the businessmen, Mr. Damian Brikman – Chief Executive Officer of Kosovo Israel Development & Investment Corporation- KIDIC, as well as Mr. Hilik Bar, Deputy Mayor of the City of Jerusalem and Israeli businessman. During this meeting of the municipality with the company “KIDIC” certain segments of local government were discussed, respectively in the implementation of some projects which will generate new workplaces. On this occasion, Mayor Hamza thanked the Israeli businessman’s for their readiness to help the economic development of the city with concrete projects. At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to deepen the cooperation in the implementation of projects which will ensure better well-being for all of Mitrovica.

TRADE AGREEMENT
Kosovo Israel Development & Investment Corporation – KIDIC is continuously involved in intensifying business relations between Kosovo and Israel. In the light of these efforts, we have recently started the cooperation with one of the key distributors in Kosovo – Passable. The cooperation will lead to the increase of trade between Kosovo and Israel and the exchange of products.
KIDIC is also in contact with more distributors and producers in Kosovo in order to build more business bridges between the two countries

Meeting with President of Albania
Last week CEO of Kosovo Israel Development & Investment Corporation Mr. Damian Brikman met his Excellency President of Albania, Mr. Ilir Meta.
During the meeting, they discussed the actual situation in Albania and the possibility to cooperate in different areas with Israeli companies.
President Meta expressed the strong relationship between the two nations, linked by the ties of history.
Mr. Brikman on the other side commented on the different projects that Kosovo Israel Development & Investment Corporation – KIDIC is developing in the Balkans.
