Damian Brikman, the CEO of KIDIC had a very productive meeting with Kosovo Minister of Internal Affairs – Mr. Xhelal Sveçla.
The focus of the meeting was to discuss cooperation possibilities between Kosovo and Israel and exploring the potential for investments for future projects.
Damian Brikman and other KIDIC Team members hosted a very fruitful meeting with the Ambassador of Romania in Kosovo. The discussion was focused on relationship building and potential collaboration, as well as sharing of mutual experiences. The ambassador showed his extended support for the initiative to build strong economic relations between
Kosovo and Israel. Mr. Brikman also showed his gratitude for the support of the ambassador and emphasized that the collaboration between KIDIC and the embassy will extend even in the future. Furthermore, they agreed on keeping a close cooperation and exchange information for business ideas and partners that would help the overall development of Kosovo economy.
Kosovo opened an embassy to Israel for the first time on Sunday, making it the third country with an embassy currently in Jerusalem. “A truly proud and historic moment for Kosovo-Israel relations,” Kosovar Ambassador Ines Demiri tweeted. “The greatest honor of my life is to have this opportunity to open the embassy and proudly serve my country in Israel.”
The Israeli Foreign Ministry said it “warmly welcomes the opening of the Embassy of Kosovo in Jerusalem today, a natural development of the relations and a realization of the Washington agreement.”
Kosovo and Israel officially established diplomatic relations last month, in a ceremony held over video conference. Kosovar Foreign Minister Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla submitted a formal request to open an embassy in Jerusalem during the ceremony.

General Director of KIESA, Mr. Hajriz Koca, along with the agency’s staff, hosted representatives of an Israeli company today, who expressed interest about the opportunities to invest in the field of tourism, information technology and hotel.During the meeting, representatives were informed of the favorable investment conditions offered by our country to potential investors. At the same time, they were informed about potential investments in Kosovo and about the services offered by KIESA.Israeli company representatives hereby presented their plans to invest in our country.The meeting also discussed the possibility of introducing Kosovar companies to Israel through KIESA activities.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israel and Kosovo established diplomatic relations on Monday, via online links due to the coronavirus crisis, under a U.S.-brokered deal that includes a pledge by the Muslim-majority country to open an embassy in Jerusalem.
Israel sees its new ties with the tiny Balkan country as part of its broader normalisation with Arab and Muslim countries under agreements sponsored by former U.S. President Donald Trump.
Trump announced the two countries’ ties in September as a side deal to an economic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia. As part of the deal, Serbia, which has ties with Israel, also agreed to open an embassy in Jerusalem.
